The Laws of Money (3), By Sunday Adelaja

…if we could open the eyes of our people in Africa and other developing countries to know the laws of money, then we can indeed help our continent. I am convinced that giving out food or money will not last for long, but if we will change the approach to money in our people, we will have empowered them to be forever free. Ignorance indeed is the only killer around.
Here I wish to begin to give you some appetiser on the laws of money. Let’s start the journey:
1. The First Law of Money that I wish to expound on today is – MONEY IS NOT MEANT TO BE SPENT. The first instinct of uninformed men when it comes to money is to spend it, and that is the proof that they are uninformed. It is also a proof why they will never really become wealthy. Some people even ask, “what is money meant for, if not to be spent?”

The Believer’s Authority, By Femi Aribisala

What manner of man is Jesus? Jesus is precisely the kind of man God expects all believers to be.
Jesus was a man under God’s authority. This placed him: “far above all principality and power and might and dominion.” (Ephesians 1:21-23). He exercised complete authority in all areas of life. He healed the sick and cleansed lepers, exercising authority over sickness. He stilled the storm and walked on water, exercising authority over nature.

VIDEO: Dangote: My Refinery Is 8 Times The Size of Victoria Island

Aliko Dangote, president of Dangote Group, is building the world’s largest greenfield refinery, with a starting refining capacity of about 600,000 barrels of oil per day.
Much more interesting is the geographical size of the refinery, which Dangote puts at eight times the size of Victoria Island, Lagos.
A video by Ovation Media Group shows Dangote telling stakeholders and the media how big his refinery really is.
“You wont appreciate the size of the place, maybe because you have not gone round, some of you,” he said.
“But this place is actually eight time Victoria Island, that is to give you the concept. The entire Victory Island, you get eight times of it here, so that is how big it is.”

13 Warning Signs of Mental Illness in a Child

Most parents have an instantaneous desire to protect their children. We tend to our children’s needs: If an unexplained rash appears, we see the doctor. If a fever spikes, we see the doctor. If a bone seems injured, we see the doctor.
Visible wounds are relatively easy to recognize. It’s different when a child begins having problems at school or with friends, or if he or she becomes uncooperative and has inexplicable outbursts. Such occurrences often leave parents feeling confused and unsure about what to do.

Holistic Testimony:Priest welcomes set of triplets after 13 years of marriage

A Priest at Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion Asaba, Delta state, Reverend John Ifeanyi Ezeike, welcomed a set of triplets on Wednesday October 19th, 13 years after he got married.

The excited new dad shared these photos with his babies on Social media while thanking God for the safe arrival of his babies. He wrote;

"God has shown me great favour and mercy today the 19th day of October 2016. In 2003, God led me to marry my good and humble wife, as a young graduate of Uniben, serving my NYSC, but little did we know what will befall both of us. For 13 good years we waited, we cried, we were hopeless and sometimes dejected, we had mental torture for we could not have a child in the marriage. But our faith in God kept us hoping that one day God will answer our prayer. As human we got to a stage that we felt all hope of having babies is gone, even at this stage we maintained our close walk with God that even if He did not give us any child we were ready to go childless and still serve Him so long we make heaven at last. But then it was a tortuous moment. God today in His in his faithfulness has decided to bless us with our own babies of triplet, two boys and a girl on this 19th day of October, 2016, after 13 years of waiting. Just thank this Great God for His goodness and mercy.

Iraq In 'Surprise' Move To Ban Alcohol

Parliament in Iraq has voted to ban the sale, import and production of alcohol, with backers of the move arguing that its availability contradicts Islam and is unconstitutional.

Opponents argue that the vote infringes constitutional guarantees of freedom of religious belief for minority groups such as Christians. They say they will appeal against the surprise decision in the courts.

An official said that the ban was a last-minute move by conservatives.

Since the fall of Saddam Hussein, activities perceived to be contrary to the moral code of Islam have come under repeated attack, with alcohol shops targeted in Baghdad and other cities.

Exemplary Marriages: Daddy Freeze wants to know why the marriages of Nigerian Pastors don't last, calls out Chris Okotie and Oyakhilome!

Hours ago CoolFm OAP, Daddy Freeze posted the photo above on Instagram with this long caption below:

Couples above; Charlie boy and lady Di, Maheeda and Hubby.
Couples below; pastor Oyakhilome and former wife, pastor Okitie and former wife..

Looking at the above couples there are so many things I can deduce.
1. Don't judge a book by its cover.
2. The least likely to win very often win.
-----------------------
Is it also safe to ask.....
1. Since Maheeda and Charlie boy succeeded at marriage while these pastors failed, is it better to get counseling from them, rather than the pastors?
2. Is there something they know that the pastors don't?
3. Do the pastors themselves need to be counseled by the couples on top?
4. Are we getting the whole concept of marriage wrong?
5. Does everyone really have someone made for them?
6. Is cooking as important as one pastor claimed?
7. Did the pastors not hear from God before they married their former spouses, or did they hear wrong? You know '56' sounds very much like '66' but they are 2 different numbers.
8. Is sexuality more important than we are are made to believe?
9. Should more women try to emulate Lady Di and Maheeda so their marriages can last?
10. Are you in the wrong relationship or marriage?
11. A pastor I know preaches that oral sex is a sin, is this true and could the lack of it, have anything to do with the breakdown of pastoral marriages?

Answer as honestly as your conscience permits you! ~FRZ
