Romans 11:30-36

RICH IN CHRIST

For from him and through him and to him are all things... Romans 11:36, NIV

"Men's riches are shallows, you may soon see the bottom, but God's riches are deep" (author unknown). To be rich is to be wealthy, having a fatty, intense flavour, be abounding, abundant and fulfilling.



Being rich in Christ points us to the fact that possession of this world, not considering how much they are, are nothing but a drop of the sea compared with God's riches. That's why the Scripture encourages us to seek the kingdom first so that we can enjoy other things as additions (Matthew 6:33)

All things that exist thrones, power and principalities including material possessions were created by God, through Jesus (Romans 11:36, Colossians 1:16). So if we find our identity in Christ we have the key to all other things on earth.

A personal revelation into the truth of Christ's richeness will enhance our existence because we are joint Heirs with Christ and all that Christ possesses are ours. You may not have raw cash at hand or gold in the bank, but you will somebody, because it is the promise of God for us as stated in Philippians 4:19.

Pray with this: Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matt. 5:16.
