Wedding Cancelled: My Lover Who I Met On Facebook Is A Cheat – Bride Cries

A woman who had sold her belongings to buy a one-way ticket to go marry the man she met on Facebook has backed out, saying he is a cheat. What happened?

Forty-one-year-old Evangelina Tsa and 39-year-old Darryl Fancey met in a Facebook chatroom. Before long, Darryl proposed to her — online. She accepted. And arranged to meet her Prince Charming at his base.

British resident Evangelina sold her possessions, including her piano, bed, sofa and TV, and put up her flat to raise enough money to buy the one-way flight to Canada, where Darryl lives.

The two E-lovers have never met before; and the romantic intention was for the two of them to “marry at first sight” at the airport on the Valentine’s Day.

Everything soon fell like a pack of cards, though; as Evangelina accused lover boy of “seeing other women,” which Darryl denied vehemently.

She told Mirror online, “Looking back, I feel embarrassed about it, especially because of the shocking realisation that he was a flirt.”

Darryl, who is now in a new affair, has taken to Facebook to deny his relationship, engagement and that he never proposed wedding to Evangelina.

Speaking previously to The Sun, she added: “When he sent me a Facebook message asking me to marry him I said ‘Yes’ in a heartbeat.”

It was only weeks before the wedding that she became aware of allegations that her fiancé was dating other women as well.

By then, Darryl had allegedly become increasingly “distant.”

“I was getting messages from these different women warning me against him,” Evangelina said.
