DOUBT VS. FAITH

We have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God... 2Corinthjans 4:2, NIV

Doubt works out fear in man’s life; and someone explained that FEAR is “False Experience Appearing Real.” When we are afraid, we lose courage to do what is right. To stand for the truth becomes very difficult because we will be afraid of what we may lose (gain) or what people may do to us (pain). However, faith will never accommodate fear because FAITH means “For All I Trust Him (Christ).” Courage comes through faith. No wonder Apostle Paul was able to declare the gospel truth without fear of losing earthly gain or facing pain.

Christian life is a high calling from the Lord to live in faith and declare the truth of the gospel. If we are too conscious of self, fear will creep in and will either shut-up our- mouth or perverse the message of God. But faith in us will help us share the message of Christ accurately and boldly. Beloved, faith can replace fear if you see Christ as your gain.
