Jonathan In Closed Door Meeting With President Buhari

Former President Goodluck Jonathan visited the Presidential Villa where he held a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday night, The Trent reports exclusively.

According to an authoritative source, Jonathan and Buhari had a private conversation in the presidential villa at about 9pm on June 2, 2016. The same day that the president backed out of his trip to Ogoni in Rivers state to flag off the clean up of the land devastated by years of oil exploration and spills.


The meeting was said to be
cordial and the matters discussed by the two leaders was not disclosed, even to aides of President Buhari.

The former president returned from Cote D’Ivoire on Wednesday evening after spending two months with high speculations he had quietly gone on exile to avoid being arrested by the Mahu-led EFCC.

Close friends and associates of the former president were surprised to see him in Abuja on Friday morning as they were expecting him to come in later on Friday, a close source told our reporter.

Jonathan is really worried by media reports and wanted to know if he's in trouble from Buhari personally.
