John 8:2-11
NO ONE WITHOUT SIN
He that is without sin among you let him first cast a stone at her. John 8:7, KJV
The Pharisees thought that they were less sinful, they thought they were the most righteous and so they have the power to condemn sinners but Jesus told them through His response that everyone is guilty of sin, and therefore, deserve punishment, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). The word that Jesus used for ‘sin’ in verse 7 could refer also to bad thoughts, bad desires and motives. None of them could absolve themselves of at least one of these. In fact, their proud attitude was, equally a sin.
If all have sinned, then you are included and guilty. However, you can be forgiven if you sincerely acknowledge your sins, confess and repent of them by faith in Christ Jesus. Don’t behave like a Pharisee who saw himself better than others. (John 8:2-7). This is another opportunity to reconsider your stand in God. Are you free from sin?
Birthday Blessing: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength. Isaiah 40:31
