Arsene Wenger did not allow his former striker to coach the Gunners’ Under-18s side along with his punditry job, but two other Premier League teams reportedly are interested.
Thierry Henry has held talks with West Ham and Watford over potential coaching roles, according to The Daily Telegraph.
The Gunners’ all-time leading scorer had agreed to become a full-time coach with the club’s Under-18s side but confirmed Tuesday that the move had fallen through after Arsene Wenger told him to leave his role as a pundit for Sky Sports in order to focus on his coaching career.
It has now been reported that the former France international has held “exploratory talks” with the two Premier League sides, while he may also land a role with a national association.
Arsenal’s former captain Tony Adams has replaced Henry as coach of the Under-18s.
