1 Corinthians 12:12-20

UNITED IN CHRIST

As it is, there are many parts, but one body. 1 Corinthians 12:20, NIV

Our potentials and gifts are purposely deposited into us for the advantage of all. The grace, utterance and anointing which the Lord had released upon your life is because He wants you to be
the solution to the challenges of the brethren while they in turn solve your own challenges too. We are created for one another. It will be impossible for us to be the answer to earth’s heartache if we fail to realize the importance of unity being ignited from love among us.

Considering today’s passage, Apostle Paul enlightened our understanding towards whom and what we are within the Body of Christ. He made it very explicit that every believer is expected to remain in the Body, for therein lies our nourishment, notwithstanding the uniqueness of our calling. We can’t all be the head; if we try it the body will be rendered useless and shall malfunction. But we all have a part that we must play which the head cannot. Let us beware of what can bring division among us in the body of Christ. Do your role and allow others to do theirs.
