Photos: FG orders commencement of work on Calabar-Itu road

The acting MD/CEO of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mrs Ibim Semenitari has directed immediate commencement of work on the abandoned Calabar-Itu road ravaged by flood.

Motorists and other road users commended Semenitari for her intervention. During her inspection of the road, it was observed that several sections of the road built in 1976, had collapsed.

The hardworking MD/CEO has hinted that Directors and engineers at the headquarters office might all relocate to the site until the remediation expected to last for two weeks is completed.
