Crook! Street hawker arrested for duping man of N20m


A herbal medicine hawker named by Tayo, has been arrested by policemen in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, for duping a man identified as Adebayo Ibrahim, of N20 million through hynoptism.

 According to City News, the suspect carried out the act with five other accomplices around July and December 2014.

Reports say the victim was lured to the house of the medicine hawker, where he made some incantations which reportedly got Ibrahim hypnotised.
A source who gave an account of the incident told newsmen that Ibrahim was given some concoction to drink, while some marks were made all over his body.
“When they got to the house, they recited some incantations and gave him something to drink",
“They also used razor and made some marks on his stomach and rubbed some concoction into it”,
“He sold his two cars and that of his wife, as well as his house and three plots of land that he bought for some people", he added.
CSP Nurudeen Sabo, the Kubwa Divisional Police Officer, confirmed the incident. He stated that the suspect has five members of his gang who are currently in Ekiti State.
