It is no secret that the Nigerian passport is not worth much, but the recent passport ranking by passport index truly puts things in perspectives.

In the recent ranking, the green Nigerian passport is the 82nd most powerful passport in the world alongside neighbours Cameroon.

A single African passport, which is already available to African head of states and African diplomats, would most likely come into existence by 2018.
If this becomes a reality, it would solve Nigeria's passport problems. A lot of Nigerians face a lot of delays at many airports in the world because of the Nigerian passport. As a matter of fact, the Nigerian passport is treated with disdain around the world.
