Isaiah 40:21-31
OUR POWERFUL AND EVERLASTING GOD
…The LORD is the everlasting God ...He will not grow tired or weary… Isaiah 40:28 NIV
What a blessing to know that our God lives forever? The power of God does not dissipate. It could have been very challenging
trusting absolutely in God if He is such a god whose reign is tenured. The truth is, no one can contest with Him and nobody can displace Him. No people can vote Him out of power or impeach Him. No committee can terminate His appointment over the earth. No one would dare challenge His authority. By implication, whatever God says or does will last forever.
Friend, l don’t know what your experiences are at the moment. I am not aware of the battle you are currently facing and how overwhelming it is becoming for you; but this one thing is certain, your problems can never be too powerful for God to handle. Remember that, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak” (v. 29) . By His power, you will overcome those challenges. From now on, as you hope in God, He will renew your strength. The all-powerful and ever-lasting God will bring His ability to bear over your disabilities. Rejoice!
