JESUS CHRIST, THE ONLY FOUNDATION

For no other foundation can a man lay than what is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11, NIV

Foundation is critical to the sustenance of any building as it also determines how long it will last. A false foundation is bound to result in building collapse, sooner or later. The famous ship - Titanic - was built with unprecedented sophistication and expertise that it was proclaimed unsinkable not even, by God! by its builders. However, it sunk in less than three hours on its
maiden voyage. The expedition experts that examined its wreckage marvelled at how such a great ship could be undone by so little puncture.

In a spiritual sense, much of what we do on earth is like building. No matter how fantastic what one build looks, it will not last if it is not situated on the only sure foundation — Jesus Christ. Apostle Paul states emphatically that no other foundation can a man lay apart from the one that has been laid — Jesus Christ. If we must find meaning in life and all our labours will not amount to nothing, then all must be rooted in Christ. You can begin today by giving your life to Christ.
