CNN ends contract with Democrat party chairwoman after Donna Brazile revealed to have passed a second debate question to Clinton campaign ~ Telegraph

The interim head of the Democratic National Committee has resigned as a commentator for CNN, after hacked emails published by WikiLeaks showed that she shared a second question for CNN-sponsored debates with Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
The first question she tipped off the Clinton campaign was about the death penalty. The second, revealed on Monday, was about Flint, Michigan.

Donna Brazile, 56, is a veteran Democrat strategist, who became the first African American woman to run a presidential campaign when she managed Al Gore’s 2000 run.
Her discussions with the Clinton campaign first raised concerns earlier in October when emails released by WikiLeaks showed she had contacted Jennifer Palmieri, Mrs Clinton’s campaign spokeswoman, on March 12 to share a question about the death penalty. Ms Brazile said the question would be asked at a coming CNN town hall.
On Monday it was revealed that she had shared a second question – this time on March 5, before a Democrat debate in Flint, Michigan. Ms Brazile emailed Mrs Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta and Ms Palmieri to tip them off about the topic.
“Her family has lead poison and she will ask what, if anything, will Hillary do as president to help the ppl of Flint,” she wrote to Mr Podesta and Ms Palmieri.
The question was indeed posed to both Mrs Clinton and her rival, Bernie Sanders, at the CNN-sponsored event.
Donald Trump, the Republican contender, said on Sunday he would have been given the electric chair if he had been passed questions in advance of a debate.
“Could you imagine if I did that? What would happen to me if I did that?
“Electric chair, I think. The electric chair. If I did that, can you imagine?”
