Revelation 7:9-12

WORSHIP WITHOUT END

“And they cried out in a loud voice: ‘salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the lamb.’” Revelation 7:10, NIV

We were created for God’s pleasure. One of the ways of ensuring this is to worship Him. When we fail to worship God, we deny ourselves the true essence of our existence here on earth. Our worship of God will transcend this terrestrial plane; we will continue to worship God in eternity. This was the picture John saw, of multitude of people of different race and tribe in white robes with palm branches in their hands, worshiping the Almighty. This implies that worship must be done in truth and holiness. It also means that true worship goes beyond racial differences.

You must understand that what matters to God is your worship; for that is the way you will spend eternity- worshipping God for God’s own sake and knowing that this brings Him pleasure. When we get to heaven, we shall see Jesus as He is and we shall be like Him. How acceptable is your personal worship life? Acceptable worship is worship done by the Spirit of God. When this takes place, you will experience increase in your faith, fellowship with other believers and walk in freedom.
