GOD ESTABLISHES TIMES AND SEASONS
He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down. Psalm 104:19, NIV

One thing that God gives equally to every human being is time. Every person has 24 hours per day; the only difference is how
each person uses his or her own portion of time. Today’s passage testifies to the fact that God, alongside all other things He created, created seasons and times. Why do you think God set times and seasons? Perhaps one of the reasons is to make humans accountable for whatever opportunity that comes to them at a particular time. One truth about times and seasons is that they go forward only they do not move backward. This means that once a moment passes, it can never be retrieved.
God did not only set times and seasons, He also set events and assignment for each time. Therefore, God has specific purpose for each time, and we must be conscious of God's mind for each moment. As you go out today, watch how you use your time. Make good use of the time and opportunities at your disposal. If you use your time well, you will definitely fulfil the purpose of God. Every single second you misuse, you can never regain it. Above all, remember that for every time given to you on earth, you will be accountable. Be a good steward of time.
