SINGING AROUND THE THRONE

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels. They encircled the throne and … in a loud voice sang. Revelation 5:11-12a, NIV

Singing to God is not limited to humankind; it is the full-time work of angels in heaven. Human beings offer praises through songs to God as an act of worship and in preparation for joining the eternal choir of heaven. But the angelic hosts sing to God
awed by the overwhelming majesty and beauty of the Lord. They have seen in reality the description of heaven as we have in the Bible. They do not need any prompting; they sing as a natural response to Him who is enthroned in indescribable glory.

The only thing believers will do in heaven is to sing around the throne of God and worship Him day and night. The major requirement to join this great force is to accept Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. Only those who meet this requirement would be admitted into that heavenly ‘Hall of Praise.’ Beloved, do you wish to be part of this heavenly choir? Accept Christ as your Lord today and be sure that you will be among those singing around God's throne at the end of age!
