They have been a couple for five years. But Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West knew each other for some time before their romance blossomed. She has now shared a throwback photo of them showing the world how she posed next to him smiling.

The 36-year-old reality star at that time was in a relationship with Reggie Bush.



Kim's love story with Kanye has been widely discussed after he made it known that he was enamoured from the very first time he saw an image of Kim.

He previously stated: 'I just knew I wanted her to be my girl for a long time. I remember I saw a picture of her and Paris Hilton, and I remember telling my boy: "Have you seen that girl Kim Kar-dijon?"'


After she split with Ray J she began dating Reggie from 2007 to 2009, despite Kanye later revealing: 'I just dreamed about being next to her'.


Before their eventual union she was married to basketball player Kris Humphries for 72 days.

While she was still legally married to Kris, her romance with Kanye began in 2012 and by June 2013 Kim had given birth to their daughter North before their wedding in 2014. She gave birth to their second child in December 2015 - a son called Saint.
