Eddie Murphy has paid an emotional tribute to his older brother Charlie Murphy following the sad news he has died at the age of 57 from leukaemia.
The standup comedian, who was also an actor, had been battling the blood cancer and getting treatment at the time of his death. And now his sibling has said he will be missed every day.
In a statement to Variety, he said: "Our hearts are heavy with the loss today of our son, brother, father, uncle and friend Charlie. Charlie filled our family with love and laughter and there won't be a day that does by that his presence will not be missed.
"Thank you for the outpouring of condolences and prayers. We respectfully ask for privacy during this time of great loss for all of us."
Charlie had been going through chemotherapy and died in a hospital in New York.
