Femi Anikulapo Kuti Breaks World Record Twice In A Row !!!

Music lovers present at The Shrine were thrilled to a show of talent from Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti, popularly known as Femi Kuti who smashed a World Record twice in a row.

Last week, the veteran act and saxophonist, played the longest note on a saxophone by playing 46mins 38secs nonstop but the record was short lived as an American, Van Burchfield, decided to break the record by playing 47 mins.

Being that greatness runs in the Kuti family, Femi picked up the challenge and decided to smash the World Record by 4 mins where he played the longest note for 51 mins 35 secs.

This Femi made known on the 15th of May via his twitter handle saying; Done.proven. #circular breathing tonight at the Shrine 51 mins 35secs 83mili secs . Now to focus on great song/melodies/tunes.
