Unexploded High Calibre Civil War Bomb Discovered In Enugu (Photo)

47 years after the end of the Nigerian-Biafran civil war, an unexploded high calibre bomb was on Wednesday discovered in Enugu..

According to Vanguard, the police Explosive Ordinance Unit in the state successfully evacuated the bomb.

According to the police spokesperson, Ebere Amaraizu, the civil war era bomb was found in a farmland at Amaetiti, Oji River Local Government Area of the state.

“It was not detonated and was of a high calibre,” the police spokesperson said.
