I Would Never’- Davido Denies Fake Anti-Igbo Tweet That His Father Will Buy The Whole Igbo land

Singer Davido has come out to clear the air about an Hate speech he allegedly made against the Igbos.

Several screenshots of a comment in which the singer allegedly bragged that his billionaire father could buy over the entire Igbo land went round on the internet and had people talking. And the singer is said to have also allegedly dissed the Biafra secessionist movement.

The fake tweet read;

“My father will just buy off the whole Igbo land. And their stupid Biafra will stop, stupid Igbos.”

When contacted to confirm the authenticity of that tweet, Davido immediately reacted and shut it down. 

“I would never ever make such statement,” he said, “tell them to try again.”
