OPEN YOUR EYES

To make their eyes open, turning them from the dark to the light. Acts 26:18, TBT

Blind man, they say, cannot lead blind man else they both shall fall into the ditch. At a time, Apostle Paul was a blind man though he had physical eyes. He acted in ignorance and led
others to act against believers in ignorance. At a point he encountered Jesus and the light of God blinded his physical eye so that he could see beyond the physical after regaining his sight.

Paul's eyes had to be opened so that he in turn will be an eye opener to the Gentiles. This was because to assume his new office of light bearer he needed a spiritual sight. The slogan "open your eye" is not just a farce it is a reality for the believer.

As a child of God, you need to open your eyes to see the direction God is expecting you to tread. Let the light of God illuminate your path so that you will not stumble in the dark.

Pray with this: Keep me as the apple of your eyes; hide me in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 17:8
