Ladies Beware: Lady Reveals Horrific Injuries After Thug BF Battered Her At Home

A woman has revealed her horrific injuries after her thug boyfriend locked her in her house and battered her for four hours.

Kelsie Skillen, 19, has released the pictures of her bruised and swollen face as a warning to others after James McCourt, also 19, was convicted of the brutal assault.

The make-up artist, who shared a house with McCourt in Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, was rushed to hospital after the attack in June this year which left her swollen and covered in cuts and bruises.

McCourt was remanded in custody to await sentencing after he admitted the brutal assault during an appearance at Glasgow Sheriff Court .

In a Facebook post, she said: "Sorry for the graphic pictures but as a lot of you may know that in June my ex-boyfriend James McCourt basically locked me in our house for 4 hours and battered me repeatedly to the extent I was hospitalised.

"As you can see mostly kept hitting my face, today was the court case and he was found guilty for everything he done to me, I am also now left with a scar.

"I'm purely just putting this out there so everyone knows what he's like considering some people are still trying to defend him and others are believing he is being sentenced for something else as that's what he's obviously going to tell people.

"I would never be able to forgive myself if I didn't tell people about this and another poor girl ended up in my situation, so thanks to everyone who came to support me today and who has supported me this full way it means a lot."

Kelsie's post has been shared more than 1,400 times on the social networking site and she has been flooded with messages of support applauding her for speaking out about her ordeal.

Kelsie's mum Susan Skillen posted: "So proud of my daughter for standing up to this beast. She has been so brave through all of this. It's all over now, he pleaded guilty today after being remanded for three months. Now just to wait for the sentence to be confirmed. I hope he rots in hell."

McCourt, of King's Park, Glasgow, admitted two charges of assaulting Kelsie and a further charge of acting in a threatening and abusive manner.

Sentencing was deferred until next month for preparation of background reports.
