James Lusted, a dwarf groom went to his wedding with a specially-made stepladder so he could stand next to his bride and look into her eyes as he said his vows.
The 28-year-old groom, at only 3feet and 7inches, has a rare genetic dwarfism condition, and therefore needed a four-step wooden ladder to climb up next to Chloe, his bride who stands at 5ft 7inches.

As they stood, face to face, and delivered their wedding vows in front of family and friends, James was glad that, at least they got to kiss without his wife having to bend low to seal their vows with a kiss.

“It meant we could have a proper kiss just like any other couple on their wedding day,” he says.
“I had the steps especially made. They actually made me a couple of inches taller than her,” he adds.
Chloe adds: "There may be a 2ft height difference but when you are in love little things like that don't matter."

James is an actor and Chloe is trainee teacher. The couple tied the knot recently in a traditional ceremony at St. Margaret's Church in Bodelwyddan, North Wales.

His older brother, Phil Lusted, who also suffers the condition was best man at the wedding.
Though their parents are of normal height, the brothers were born with a rare genetic condition called Diastrophic Dysplasia.
