Wellness Tips: 6 reasons to take time off alone

It's good to shut out the 'noise' once in a while for a 'me' time done alone!

This can come in form of 'annual leave' for busy/working class ladies and gents and in form of annual vacations and time out for entrepreneurs and more. Holidays, vacations, retreats and other ways of taking time out are all perfect ways to be alone which is a great way to refresh once in a while.

Taking time alone is great for the mind, soul and even body (except where balanced diet is thrown out the window) as it's a way to shut down entirely to rest amongst other things. See more reasons to take time off alone and why;
1. Self Improvement
Taking time off helps relax and re-strategize. This time alone helps to evaluate and weight progress and tweak where need be. It's also the ultimate time needed to improve on oneself and make ground breaking decisions.
2. Restoration & Rejuvenation
With a 'me time' comes rejuvenation and restoration. its the time where the whole body 'resets' and it's at its peak performance because it would be relaxed enough to make sound decisions. At this point, the body is restored to work effectively. (A great reason to take a time out).

3. Relax
A time out essentially helps the whole body (mind and soul) relax/actively shut down which helps increase productivity amongst other things at the end of the day.
4. Re-focus
Time out is essentially a time to re-focus (and reflect on things that really matter). It's the time everyone needs to get out of the rut!
5. Get Creative
Surprisingly getting creative comes with adequate rest and 'quiet' because the brain is at its peak, performance is higher and ideas begin to flow thus new ideas/dreams could be birthed at this time.

6. Listen to the inner voice
It's essentially a time to be 'still' and connect with one's inner self. Everyday hustling and bustling and being busy get in the way of connecting with one's soul, this time is a time to do just that.
By all means maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating right, exercise, pamper the physical body/skin amongst other things but most importantly RELAX.
